Terá lugar, no próximo dia 23 de setembro, pelas 18h00, no Auditório 2 (Torre B) da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, a palestra “Bridging feminism with children and media: a personal scholarly journey”, com Dafna Lemish.

Dafna Lemish é professora nos programas da Escola de Comunicação e Informação da Universidade de Rutgers, editora fundadora do Journal of Children and Media e membro do Associação Internacional de Comunicação (ACI).

É autora e editora de vários livros e artigos sobre crianças, média e representações de género, incluindo: KakaoTalk and Facebook: Korean American youth constructing hybrid identities (with Jiwoo Park, Rowman & Littlefield, 2019); Fear in front of the screen: Children’s fears, nightmares and thrills (with Maya Götz & Andrea Holler, Rowman & Littlefield, 2019); Beyond the stereotypes: Images of boys and girls and their consequences (co-edited with Maya Götz, Nordicom, 2017); Children, Adolescents, and media: The future of research and action (co-edited with Amy Jordan & Vicky Rideout, Routledge, 2017); Children and media: A global perspective (Wiley, 2015); The Routledge international handbook on children, adolescents and media (edited, Routledge, 2013); Sexy girls, heroes and funny losers (co-edited with Maya Götz, Peter Lang, 2012); and Screening gender on children’s television: The views of producers around the world (Routledge, 2010).
