From April 28 to June 1, the 2CN-CLab team will be in Brazil to carry out a total of 16 actions, aimed at researchers, professionals and future professionals of the cultural sector, in Goiás, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.
The 2CN-CLab (Cultural Cooperation Networks – Creative Laboratory), developed within the CECS’s Observatory of Communication and Culture Policies, is an itinerant creative laboratory that aims to promote a critical and constructive discussion about cultural and , in this way, make aware and enhance the qualification of professionals and future professionals of the cultural sector for the qualified participation in organizations of this nature.
The first mission of the 2CN-CLab to Brazil took place in October 2017, as a result of a partnership with the Research and Training Center of the Social Service of Commerce – São Paulo (Sesc). Based on the evaluation carried out and the establishment of new partnerships, namely with the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) and with the Two Points Cultural Association, it was possible to carry out a 2nd mission to Brazil, in August 2018, which included activities in Bahia, Federal District, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco and São Paulo.
In the year 2019, two other missions of the 2CN-CLab to Brazil will be created planed in collaboration with more than a dozen public and private Brazilian organizations in the academic and cultural sector, to promote a diverse set of actions in 7 Brazilian states.
