The call for papers for the VI International Congress on Cultures is open until 23 October 2020. Under the theme “Cultures for life in an anguished world”, the congress will problematize the countless social, political, economic, communication, technological and health processes that have an impact on culture and are managed by it.
Scheduled for November, 18, 19 and 20, 2020, the sixth meeting will be held online due to travel restrictions and public health protocols due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This modality will, in turn, allow broad participation, giving greater capillarity and diversity to the VI International Congress on Cultures.
The Network of Universities dedicated to the study of Cultures is an important initiative for the debate, research and promotion of activities in the field of culture. Among these initiatives, the International Congress on Cultures stands out, promoted annually by one of the Network’s member universities (Brazil, Mozambique and Portugal).
Work proposals (tables, book launches, cultural products and artistic presentations) must be submitted by October 23. Registration for general participation starts on October 25th.
