Assistant Professor of the Department of Sociology of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho, doctorate in Sociology, in the area of Sociology of Organizations at the University of Minho, in 2000.

He directs his research to the analysis of organizational (re) production carried out by human and non-human actors, developing considerations that are based first and foremost on Structuring Theory, Actor-Network Theory and Co-Guidance Theory and, in Institutional Theory, Contingency Theory and Organizational Cultural Theory. As a consultant, he supports quality management and the sustainability of organizations.
