Jorge Zamora: new PhD in Communication Sciences

The PhD exams in Communication Sciences by Jorge Daniel López Zamora took place on March 19, at 2:30 pm.

The thesis, supervised by Madalena Oliveira, has the title “Combined design: looking at the construction of meaning in realities mediated by artificiality”.

The jury, chaired by Helena Sousa, was composed of:

– Maria Madalena da Costa Oliveira, Associate Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Francisco Tiago Antunes de Paiva, Associate Professor, Department of Communication and Arts, Faculty of Arts and Letters, University of Beira Interior;

– Alberto Manuel Teixeira de Sá, Assistant Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Daniel Cruz Brandão, Assistant Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Leonardo Filipe Ferreira Pereira, Invited Assistant Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Guido Alvarez, Assistant Professor, University of Illinois en Urbana-Champaign.

The tests took place through the Zoom platform.
