New CECS’ publication: ParticipAD – Participatory advertising: a global perspective with a Latin American focus

The CECS published a new ebook: ParticipAD – Participatory advertising: a global perspective with a Latin American focus. Coordinated by CECS researcher Ana Duarte Melo and Marcela Duque, this ebook works on the concept of ParticipAD, “a concept based on the participatory and interventionist potential of Advertising”.

According to the publishers, “being one of the most influential institutions of our time, Publicity has experienced a structural and conceptual change that opens new possibilities for the participation of the consumer and the citizen, both in the advertising process and in its products.”

The subtitle of the ebook – A global perspective with a Latin American approach – was inspired by the IAMCR 2017 pre-conference theme, which was held on July 14, 2017, in Bogotá.

The ebook is available here.
