The beginning of CECS editorial activity dates back to 1999, when the first issue of Communicação e Sociedade was published. As several books – both print and online – have been a constant outcome of CECS researchers’ projects throughout the years, it is often common to work alongside other members from other universities.
The Publication Manual – Guidelines for CECS Editions seeks to establish two fundamental objectives: systematizing norms and styles for future CECS publications, from linguistic aspects to the references; guiding authors for the preparation of a publication, getting them to know how CECS deals with the publication timelines.
This manual does not to intend to create a new reference style. Most of the guidelines are inspired in the APA (American Psychological Association), a very common one in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
