Rafaela Granja gave the presentation: “(Im)probable futures of artificial intelligence in the criminal justice system” at the Artificial Intelligence & Sustainability Congress, held on May 6th at the University of Minho. The event brought together students from several secondary schools, who prepared and presented topics related to the use of AI in a variety of areas.
The E-Monitoring researcher was invited to be a consultant at this congress, where she took the opportunity to talk about the challenges of using artificial intelligence databases in the criminal justice system.
