Andreia Pimentel

Andreia Pimentel holds a Master’s degree in Crime, Difference, and Inequality from the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Minho (2022).
Her research interests are focused on victimization, the experiences of prisoners (particularly including elderly and LGBTQI+ populations) and electronic monitoring. In the academic years 2020/2021 and 2018/2019, she was recognized with merit and excellence scholarships for her academic achievements. Additionally, Andreia Pimentel serves as a member of the extended committee at the Braga Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People.
