3rd Meeting of Communication and Diversity Researchers

The 3rd Meeting of Communication and Diversity Researchers will be held on June 2, at 4.30 pm, in the Sala de Reuniões of the Institute of Social Sciences (ICS). It is part of the Permanent Seminar on Communication and Diversity (PSCD), which aims to foster debate around the different theoretical, methodological and empirical approaches.

This activity seeks to create spaces for informal conversation among researchers with projects and/or interest in the topic of diversity for integration, developing the possibility of collaboration, sharing and mutual support. It is an opportunity for researchers (including MA and PhD students) across different areas to meet colleagues, present their own research, ask for support (bibliographic suggestions, exchange of information on the publication, feedback on articles, etc.) and thus create networks of collaborations.

This session will discuss Kathy Davis’ paper: “Who Owns Intersectionality? Some Reflections on Feminist Debates on How Theories Travel“, European Journal of Women’s Studies 27(2).

Nicoletta Mandolini, Alice Balbé and Rosa Cabecinhas, researchers at CECS, are organising the session with the support of the Permanent Seminar on Communication and Diversity.
