The meeting ‘Sociology and Society’ will be held on June 14 at 4 pm in the A2 Amphitheatre of the Calouste Gulbenkian School (Braga). The event will be attended by Paula Urze, from NOVA University Lisbon, and Luísa Oliveira, who has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Minho.
On the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of April 25, a reflection is proposed on Sociology as a social science and its relevance to society, to identify new paths and objects of study that are relevant to strengthening relations between universities, educational organisations and the community in general.
