From March 18 to April 18, the FCT will issue a Call for PhD Research Grants across all Scientific Domains for the year 2024 encompassing the General Line and a Non-Academic Environment. A total of 1500 scholarships will be awarded and the Communication and Society Research Centre is making itself available as a host institution.
According to the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, the Doctoral Research Scholarships are aimed at candidates who are either enrolled in or eligible for enrolment in a study cycle leading to a doctoral degree programme and who aspire to engage in research activities to obtain that degree.
The Communication and Society Research Centre has nearly a hundred PhD researchers engaged in various research areas, including: Communication, territories, organisations and social dynamics; Cultural Studies and Media and Journalism.
