On 26 September, the ICS Sala de Atos in Gualtar, Braga, will host the opening session of the doctoral programmes in Communication Sciences and Cultural Studies.
The programme will begin at 3 p.m. with a discussion on the theme ‘Communication and Culture in Times of Barbarism’. Moderated by Cláudia Aguiar Rodrigues, journalist at Antena 1, it will bring together Teresa Paixão, director of RTP2 between March 2015 and June 2025, and António Guerreiro, editor of the magazine ‘Electra’ (EDP Foundation) and columnist and literary critic for the newspaper ‘Público’.
At 4.30 pm, Grasiela Müller presents the sound and visual performance “Baile no quintal do mundo” and at 5 pm Café & Conversation.
The event is being organised by Helena Pires and Sara Pereira, who are responsible for the doctoral courses in Cultural Studies and Communication Sciences.
