As part of the project Culture and Development: Cultural Projects and the 2030 Agenda, the Observatory of Sciences, Communication and Culture (PolObs) promotes the Seminar “Sustainable Cities and Communities: Projects of the 2030 Agenda in Brazil”, which will take place on July 22, 2 pm.
It will showcase 14 projects from the Southeast, Northeast, North, Midwest and South regions of Brazil aligned with SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, approved in 2015 by the UN.
The Brazilian projects for presentation at the seminar are: Fazendinhando; Instituto Biorregional do Cerrado; Sistema Agroflorestal Experimental (SAFE/UFPE) e Rede pela Transição Agroecológica; Agrovila Vertical Urbana; Hortas do Bem Comum; +MogiEcotietê; Projeto “Os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS11) e o direito à cidade”; Ocupação Planaltina / Movimento dos Trabalhadores Sem Teto; Projeto InterCidadania; Revolução dos Baldinhos; Plano de Bairro Jardim Lapenna; Mandato Agroecológico – Vereador Marquito (Florianópolis, Santa Catarina); SERTA – Serviço de Tecnologia Alternativa; Construção de Usinas Fotovoltaicas Urbanas.
