Alene Lins: new PhD in Communication Sciences

The PhD exams in Communication Sciences of Alene da Silva Lins, took place on January 12, starting at 2:00 pm.

The thesis, supervised by Luís António Santos, is entitled “A socio-semiotic view of the spontaneous in political photojournalism”.

The jury, chaired by Moisés de Lemos Martins, was composed of:

– Felisbela Maria Carvalho Lopes, Associate Professor with Aggregation, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Anabela Maria Gradim Alves, Assistant Professor with Aggregation, Faculty of Arts and Letters, University of Beira Interior;

– Catarina Sofia Lourenço Rodrigues, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, University of the Azores;

– Joaquim Manuel Martins Fidalgo, Retired Assistant Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Luís António Martins dos Santos, Assistant Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho.
