Ana Duarte Melo, a CECS researcher, was elected to the International Council of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR). The election results for the 2024-2028 period were announced yesterday by the association.
Ana Duarte Melo is the only Portuguese researcher in a group of 25 researchers from universities across the globe: South Africa, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, the United States of America, France, Ghana, India, Israel, Mexico, Norway, the Netherlands, Qatar, Kenya, the United Kingdom and Russia.
In the previous mandate (2020-2024), Helena Sousa was also a member of this international body.
