The 12th International Conference on Digital and Interactive Arts, organised by the Centre for Communication and Society Studies (CECS) of the University of Minho, will be held at the University of Minho between 26 and 28 November 2025. The aim of the conference is to promote interest in current digital culture and its intersection with art and technology as an important field of research, but also as a common space for discussion and the exchange of new experiences. This edition seeks to promote a greater understanding of digital arts and culture across a broad spectrum of cultural, disciplinary and professional practices.

In the run-up to this conference, there is a call for papers until 30 June, aimed at academics, teachers, researchers, artists, IT professionals and others working in the broadly defined areas of digital arts, culture and education. Assism invites the submission of papers from all areas related to digital art and art installations, interactive art or multimedia artworks for consideration by the international committee. Both research and application papers are relevant to ARTECH 2025.
