The open class “Arts of Citizenship: Youth, Causes and the Urgency to Act”, with professor Alix Didier Sarrouy (CICS.NOVA), will take place next Tuesday, May 11, at 6 p.m.
Alix Didier Sarrouy is a researcher in Social Sciences, musician and performer. He is French and has lived in several countries, mainly in Portugal. He conducts research in Sociology and Anthropology, with emphasis on qualitative methods and fieldwork. He is inspired by pragmatic philosophy and ethnomethodology. He holds a degree in Cultural Mediation (Paris III), a Master in Cultural Policy (Paris VII) and a PhD in Sociology of Art and Culture (Sorbonne Nouvelle and University of Minho).
This is a joint initiative between the Master in Communication, Art and Culture of the University of Minho, Passeio – Platform for Urban Art and Culture (CECS UMinho) and the project ArtCitizenship – Youth and the Arts of Citizenship (CICS.NOVA).
