CECS celebrates World Day of Radio with children

13 February, World Radio Day: CECS joins the Basic Schools of Aver-O-Mar and Rates, from Póvoa de Varzim, to reconcile this day with the children.

Under the Scientifically Probable Program, the CECS researcher Sara Pereira will coordinate a series of activities aimed at promoting media literacy with a special focus on the role of radio.

Pedro Portela, professor of curricular units linked to the sound, audio-visual, public and media practices, and Daniel Brandão, a multidisciplinary teacher and multidisciplinary designer specializing in Video and Motion Graphics, will be part of the CECS research group, which together with Sara Pereira will receive the nearly 50 students who visit the facilities of the Center for Communication and Society Studies and of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho.
