CECS partner in UNESCO Global Studies Chair

The inauguration session of the UNESCO Global Studies Chair, of which the Communication and Society Research Centre is a partner, will be held on September 26 at 6pm in the Great Hall of the Rectory of the Universidade Aberta (Ceia Palace).

This session will feature two conferences:

• The New Humanities, by Guilherme d’Oliveira Martins, from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation;
• Science and Globalisation, by Carlos Fiolhais, from the University of Coimbra.

The event will be hybrid, taking place in person and via a Zoom session, with compulsory registration at inscricoes.eventos.ceg@gmail.com.
