Open Class Cycle “Investigating and acting in the social sciences”

On the 15th of April, at 6:00 pm, the cycle of open classes “Investigate and act in the social sciences” begins. The first session is dedicated to the theme “Sociology in action. From digital networks to sociological consultancy in the age of networks” and includes the participation of CECS researcher, Pedro Rodrigues Costa.

Researchers José Pinheiro Neves and Paula de Vilhena Mascarenhas are responsible for moderation.

Pedro Rodrigues Costa has a degree in Sociology, a master’s degree in Organizations and Work and a PhD in Communication Sciences (2013). He is currently a CECS researcher in technology and digital networks, in the Cultural Studies group and at the Virtual Museum of Lusophony. He was a consultant on social projects, business programs and market studies.

It is an organization of the Master in Sociology at the University of Minho, with the support of the Communication and Society Research Centre and Observalicia – Observatory on Food, Technology and Ecology.

The session will take place via Zoom and has free access.
