CECS’s Migramedia Acts project has teamed up with LuckyStar-Cineclube de Braga and the Citizens’ Forum for the Eradication of Poverty – Braga for a film series that will take place on Tuesday evenings in April at the Lúcio Craveiro da Silva Library (at 9:30 pm).
With the title “(About) Experiences in an Inhospitable World. Views on exclusions and resistances”, the series of film sessions begins with ‘A Flor do Buriti’ (2023), by Renée Nader Messora and João Salaviza ( 1 april). The following week,on the 8th , “La rebelión de las flores” by María Laura Vásquez and “O teu nome é” by Paulo Patrício will be shown. On the 15th, “GreatYarmouth: Provisional Figures” by Marco Martins. This will be followed on the 22nd by “The Other Side of Hope” and “Nha Sunhu”, by Toivon Tuolla Puolen and José Magro, respectively. The cycle ends on the 29th with “The Story of Souleymane”, by Boris Lojkine.
Admission costs one euro for students, two euros for library users and three euros for the general public. Film club members have free entry.
