Series of Conferences and Round Tables “The Silence of the Earth” – Session 5: “Unity and Struggle: What has been, what is left?”

For pandemic related reasons, the session will only take place virtually.

The fifth session of the Series of Conferences and Round Tables, “Interpellations based on The Silence of the Earth. (Post)colonial visualities intersected by the Diamang archive” will occur on June 18, at 3 p.m.

The session “Unity and Struggle: What has been, what is left?”, will have the participation of Aurora Almada (IHC/FCSH), Fabrício Rocha (CES), Vasco Martins (CES), Catarina Simão (independent researcher), José Augusto Pereira (IHC/FCSH) and Raquel Ribeiro (University of Edinburgh). The session will be moderated by Bruno Madeira (CITCEM) and Rita Lucas Navarra (IHC/FCSH).

The promotion of this cycle is an initiative of the Laboratory of Landscape, Heritage and Territory (Lab2PT), the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS), the Interdisciplinary Centre for Social Sciences (CICS.NOVA.UMinho) and the Research Network Centre in Anthropology (CRIA-UMinho).

The fifth session will take place on Zoom.
