International Congress “Europe as a space for Intercultural Dialogue and Mediation”, with almost 100 proposals

There are about a hundred work proposals for the International Congress “Europe as a space for Intercultural Dialogue and Mediation”, which will be held at the University of Minho, on 26 and 27 April 2018. The work proposals were submitted by national and international researchers, from countries like Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany and Brazil. The event is organized by CECS in conjunction with other entities.

Proposals were submitted to the various thematic axes proposed, being predominant in the “Social Mediation” and “New Challenges of Europe” axes, demonstrating the interest of the academic and professional community (national and international) in the discussion of these subjects.

It is hoped that this congress will unleash a space of interdisciplinary debate on the contemporary challenges of contemporary society, addressing issues such as migration, diversity, intercultural communication and mediation in order to deepen the construction of more welcoming, inclusive and peaceful societies.

The deadline for registration with reduced rates ends on February 12.
