Marking World Mental Health Day, October 10, Communitas organizes an online debate to discuss how the pandemic has been reflected in the mental health of the Portuguese. The role of the media in this discussion and whether or not they help to combat social stigmas and perceptions on the topic will be discussed.
The event has the participation of three guests from different areas: Alice Delerue Matos (national coordinator of the SHARE research project, researcher at CECS and professor at ICS-UM), Pedro Morgado (Psychiatrist at Hospital de Braga and professor at the School of Medicine ) and
Sofia Branco (Union President and journalist at LUSA). The moderation will be in charge of Madalena Oliveira (CECS researcher).
The debate will be broadcast live on the Communitas Facebook page.
