The University of Minho (UMinho) and the main European Communication Science Research Association, European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA), signed on October 3, at the Rectory of the University of Minho, the protocol of understanding on the organization of the 8th European Communication Conference. ECREA 2020 will take place at the University of Minho from 2 to 5 October 2020. The conference will be organized by the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS).
The international conference is devoted to the theme ‘Communication and Trust: Building safe, sustainable and promising futures’, with the objective of analyzing the communication practices of the technological age and the vulnerabilities arising from an accelerated and rapidly changing digital society.
The signing ceremony of the protocol was attended by the Rector of the University of Minho, Prof. Rui Vieira de Castro, ECREA President, Ilija Tomanic Trivundza, and CECS Director, Moisés de Lemos Martins.
