Students selected for the “UMinho Prize for Initiation in Scientific Research”

After the selection process of the applications for the “UMinho Initiation Prize in Scientific Research” has been completed, the candidates selected for each of the four projects to be developed at the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS) are announced.

  Matilde Martins Alves

• Percursos e trajetórias dos doutorandos do Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade do Minho
  Liliana Filipe Lopes Agra

• FESTIVity – Festa, património cultural e sustentabilidade comunitária. Investigação e comunicação no caso da Bugiada e Mouriscada de Sobrado
  Carla Isabel de Barros Rodrigues

• Imagens e narrativas da interculturalidade: os jovens, o cinema e a História
  Lara Isabel Ferreira Campinho

This Prize seeks to bring 1st cycle students closer to real scientific research contexts, including them in research teams that work on the creation of new and relevant knowledge. Selected students will have the opportunity to engage in supervised research activities.

The winner will also receive a certificate and a cash value of 500 euros.
