Two moments are there to come for the upcoming 3rd Conference “Paths of Knowledge Sociologu, Science and Technology in Portugal”, to be held in the Social Sciences Institute (ICS) of the University of Minho, from 7 to 8th September 2017, in Braga. In the first day, Ulrike Felt Lecturer in the University of Wien (Austria) and President of the European Association for the Study of Science and Technology (EASST), will deliver the first keynote subject to the title “Academic line-ups: On life-lines, time-lines and trajectories towards the future”. In the second day, a roundtable will be held in the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), in Braga, prior to the title “Nanotechnologies and society: from research to the citizen”. Both events are free to attend, but INL session is subject to registration.
The conference will be also the opportunity for researchers in the social sciences studies to present their works, as the organization expects 30 presentations.
This is an event organized by the Working Group “Knowledge, Science and Technology” of the Portuguese Association of Sociology (APS), by the Communication & Society Research Centre (CECS), in coordination with INL.
