Training on ageing mobilises European universities and UMinho schools

On January 12 and 13, researchers from the 3AC project met to share experiences and plan the subsequent stages of project implementation.

Researchers from the Institute of Social Sciences, the School of Psychology and the School of Nursing of the University of Minho gathered researchers from the University of Lille in France, the University of Mikolo Romerio in Lithuania, and the University of Wroclawski in Poland, in a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The 3AC project includes a study, based on a questionnaire survey, on the motivations and training expectations of people aged 55 and over. It includes implementing a course on ageing, from a bio-psycho-social perspective, aimed at this target audience.

Currently, the 3AC team is collecting information in four European countries and will start in April, at UMinho, the short-term training of a group of people aged 55 and over.
