Doctoral program in Communication Sciences

The doctoral program in Communication Sciences is a proposal anchored in the competencies, capacities and resources developed by the group that constitutes the research center (CECS) several years ago and intends to respond to a need for an advanced region and the north of Portugal. At the same time, it is considered that this Course will also be a response to the Lusophone area, particularly Brazil and the Portuguese speaking African countries.

Of broad spectrum, the model of this Course is based on a solid formative base that supports investigations centered, either on objects of study of theoretical nature or objects of an empirical nature. In any case, it is a concern that the knowledge produced can stimulate and support the qualification of cultural, business and professional agents in the field of communication.
