The Guias de Comunicação em Saúde para o Plano Nacional de Saúde 2030 (Health Communication Guides for the National Health Plan 2030) was launched on April 11, at 3 pm, at the Galeria do Paço at the Rectory of the University of Minho. Graça Freitas, Director-General for Health, attended the session.
Authored by Ana Duarte Melo, Teresa Ruão, Sara Balonas, Marta Alves and Marta Ferreira, researchers at the CECS, the two guides are available in open access and focus on the recommendation of good practices in Health Communication and ponder on the need for areas of expertise.
The Guia de Boas Práticas (Good Practices Guide) “establishes the bases of communication of the National Health Plan 2021-2030 (PNS 2021-2030), for supporting strategic planning for sustainable health, from national to the local level”. “It is designed to be operational and aims to simplify and optimise the communication process of the PNS 2021-2030, empowering health professionals and other partners for more strategic, efficient and assertive communication”.
The Guia de Comunicação – Áreas Especializadas (Communication Guide – Specialised Areas) “includes, together with the Guia de Boas Práticas (Good Practices Guide), the bases of communication for the National Health Plan 2021-2030 (PNS 2021-2030), providing support for strategic planning for sustainable health, with more thorough knowledge of techniques, processes and practices of specific communication areas”.
