The II Virtual Meeting: African Museums of Ethnology and Anthropology will take place next June 28, at 9.00 am.
The meeting aims to promote dialogue between the different directors and technicians of museums from four Portuguese-speaking countries, namely Angola, the Museu Nacional de Antropologia e o Museu Regional da Huíla; Cape Verde, the Museu Etnográfico da Praia; Guinea-Bissau, the National Ethnographic Museum of Guinea-Bissau, and Mozambique, the Museu Nacional de Etnologia de Nampula, with researchers from the area.
This initiative is organised by the Cultures Past&Present project, with the support of the Communication and Society Research Centre, the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho, Eduardo Mondlane University, the Aga Khan Development Network and the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia.
