In the context of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus, the Communication and Society Research Centre has looked with particular attention to the social and communicational effects of the exceptional circumstances in which we live, seeking to intervene in favour of the development of scientific knowledge and the quality of life of the community.
Considering the strong presence of CECS researchers in the media and the scientific and social contribution that this presence brought to the public discussion about the pandemic, a space for sharing and disseminating this form of intervention was created through the Centre’s social networks: InOutCovid -19.
CECS researchers also participated in the global effort to combat the pandemic, producing studies on the impact of COVID-19 in the areas of research they usually work on: Scientific studies on COVID-19.
