Dunia Etura holds a degree in Journalism and Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature from the University of Valladolid and a Master’s Degree in Communication Research as a Socio-Historical Agent from the same university.

She is a professor in the field of Journalism and a specialist in Gender Studies and Equality Policy Management at the University of Valladolid and the Millán Santos Permanent University.

Co-directs the Teaching Teaching of the Innovation Project on Gender Equality and Inclusion and is a member of the Gender Studies Chair of UVa. It also investigates on gender equality and violence, inclusion of feminism in television in Spain, narrative in television series.
