A journalist, passionate about science. She believes in the power of mobilisation and inspiration of people. She worked as a television reporter and host in Brazil, focusing on telejournalism specialising in health for Fiocruz and as editor and producer of education for the Roberto Marinho Foundation. Furthermore, she is the editor and producer of a series of interviews with FAPESP researchers for Futura Channel.

She graduated from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and has a Master’s degree with a dissertation on communication flows in networks and public security from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and a PhD in development in Communication Sciences at the University of Minho.

She is a Brazilian and Portuguese national and a mother. The cultural producer awarded the Aldir Blanc Law, in Rio de Janeiro, with the interview series “Empreendedoras da Quarentena”, which highlights female protagonism in income generation during the pandemic. She is a volunteer writing teacher for the Radio School socio-educational project for young people in the state of Rio de Janeiro and the host of the program Sarauzinho at Radio Escola FM. Furthermore, she is the Executive Producer of the mobilisation #Nem1PraTrás, against school dropouts, of the Roberto Marinho Foundation. Finally, she is involved in several projects of education and citizenship through communication and culture.
