André Ribeiro Fernandes holds a degree in International Relations from University of Minho (2018-2021), he is currently a student in the Master’s Programme in History by the same University.
Starting December 2023, he has been granted an investigation scholarship in the programme “HINT – Humanity internationalized: cases, dynamics and comparisons (1945-1980)” led by Professor José Pedro Pinto Monteiro and based at the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS), Institute of Social Sciences (ICS), University of Minho, Portugal.
His research interests are the international, transnational and imperial intersections of late Portuguese colonialism.
