Andreia Pimentel is currently a senior technician at Bragaabit, E.M. and a member of the restricted and extended commission at the Children and Youth Protection Commission of Braga.

Andreia Pimentel has a master’s degree in Crime, Difference and Inequality, from the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho (2022), with a dissertation entitled “Aging, Reclusion and Covid-19: a multidimensional look at experiences, experiences and perceptions”, whose results are published in the magazine Shadows and Lights, of the General Directorate of Reintegration and Prison Services.

She has a degree in Sociology (2019) from the same Institute, where she developed an internship report, at the Portuguese Association for Victim Support, entitled “Violence against the elderly: the silenced reality”.

In the academic years 2020/2021 and 2018/2019, Andreia Pimentel was awarded merit and excellence scholarships.
