Graduated in History (Teaching) at the University of Minho, in 2000, and in History (Research), in 2006, at the same university. PhD in History (field of expertise: Early Modern History), from University of Minho, in 2018, with the dissertation “City Houses: privatization process and luxury consumption in the urban middle strata (Lisbon, second half of the eighteenth century and beginning of the nineteenth century), funded by FCT (Portuguese national funding agency for science, research and technology), with the supervision of Professor Isabel dos Guimarães Sá and Professor Nuno Gonçalo Monteiro.
Research interests are focused on social history in the Early Modern period, the intermediate urban layers in the Ancients Regime, history of consumption, material culture and current architecture.
