Born in 1991, in Barcelos, Catarina Bessa Rodrigues was always interested in communication and writing. During her graduation, in Communication Sciences, at the Portuguese Catholic University, she started to dedicate herself more to cinema and audiovisual, an area in which she specialized in her master’s degree, in Communication Sciences, at the University of Minho.
She has worked in several companies, in marketing, and as a Video and Digital Content Production teacher in IPCA. She is a PhD student at the University of Minho, in the Doctorate Course in Communication Sciences, where she researches Feminine Representations in Cinema.
