Crisvalter Medeiros graduated in Social Communication from the Federal University of Paraíba (1986). He further pursued a Master’s Degree in Social Work in the area of Social Policy at the Postgraduate Programme in Social Work (PPGSS) of the Centre for Human Sciences, Letters, and Arts (CCHLA) of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), (2015). Additionally, he completed specialisations in Psychopedagogy at the Integrated Universities of Patos-FIP, Drug Use Prevention at School, at Work and in the Community at the Federal University of São Paulo.

He is currently a senior administrative technician at the FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF PARAÍBA, holding a position in the Directorate of Social Communication. With a focus on extension, he has expertise in the area of Education, particularly in communication, risk prevention for the use of alcohol and other drugs, and prevention of social vulnerabilities. Furthermore, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Communication Sciences at the University of Minho in Braga.
