PhD in Communication Sciences since 2013, in the area of Political Economy of Communication, Elsa Costa e Silva is a Lecturer at the Social Sciences Institute, at the University of Minho, where she teaches Journalism, Political Economy and communication markets.
She was a member of the team in the project funded by the FCT “The regulation of the media in Portugal: the case of ERC”. She is also a former journalist, working in Diário de Notícias newspaper for over a decade.
