Fábia Ortega Borges holds a PhD in Communication and Journalism from the University of Santiago de Compostela. As a Research Fellow at Foundation for Science and Technology, she studied the processes of Internal Communication, with a thesis entitled “Feedback in Internal Organizational Communication. Communication Strategies of Geographically Dispersed Organizations”, covering companies listed on the CMVM.
She focuses on Organizational Communication as a research line and is developing a project for an Observatory of Communication Agencies and Consultants, which aims to monitor the Communication and Public Relations Consultancy sector in Portugal.
She is currently a professor at ISMAI – University Institute of Maia, in the Study Cycles of Communication Sciences, Public Relations and Multimedia Communication Technologies.
