Fernando Tadeu is a PhD student in Communication at ICS/CECS at the University of Minho.
He is a Brazilian journalist who graduated in 1994 with ample experience in the area of communication and press within public and private companies. Notably, he spearheaded the Brazilian government’s Zero Hunger Portal in 2004. He worked extensively in the reporting and editing sectors of the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo and the magazine of Editora Abril. He was the editor of texts at TV Globo and Band. Additionally, he coordinated important political communication initiatives in the PT presidential campaigns. He worked for more than 10 years as the head of communication and press at Eletrobras in Brasília (DF), the fifth-largest renewable energy company worldwide.
He has worked in digital media, focusing on content production and management.
