Following his PhD research project in Communication Sciences in the Federak University of Pernambuco (Brazil), Jean Cerqueira was supervised by Anabela Carvalho, thus conducting studies to observe how nature is represented in cinema, animation, Youtube and thorugh other online platforms of content sharing. This research period in the CECS was funded by the Brazilian Science Foundation CAPES.
Jean Cerqueira is also a Lecturer in the Federal University of Sergipe (Brazil)
