Jhonny Cazetta is a PhD student in Communication Sciences at the University of Minho. He obtained his Master’s degree from the University of Porto in 2018. Previously, he worked as a journalist for newspapers, websites, and television.
Over the last few years, he has been studying fact-checking initiatives, their impact on journalism, and how they can be effective against disinformation.
His primary research interests include journalism, social media, information disorder and media policy and regulation.
