Katarzyna Filutowska holds a Ph.D. in philosophy (2006) from the University of Warsaw. Currently, she is Assistant Professor at the University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź. A lecturer in philosophy and ethics, she is the author of numerous publications on such topics as F. W. J. Schelling`s narrative philosophy, narrative identity, narrative ethics, and the relationship between Polish and German philosophy in the 19th century. Recent publications include, among others, a monograph in Polish concerning narrative identity (2018), a chapter in a monograph in German entitled “Kulturtransfer in der Proviz. Wilna als Ort deutscher Wissenschaft und Kultur, 1803-1832” (Harrassowitz Verlag, 2020) and articles in international journals such as “Studies in East European Thought” (2020; 2023), “Narrative Inquiry” (2021), “Journal of Transcendental Philosophy” (2021), or “Pro-Fil – An Internet Journal of Philosophy” (2023).
