PhD in Communication Sciences, by the University of Minho, in 2013, Lurdes Macedo is a Lecturer in the Lusophone University of Porto, where she teaches in the Public Relations field. She is also a Post-Doc Researcher of the FCT (The Portuguese Foundation for the Science and Technology), in association with the CECS.
She has participated in several research projects, including “Identity Narratives and Social memory: the (re)construction of lusophony in intercultural contexts” (CSRS – UM). She is co-author of the International Yearbook ‘Communication in the Lusophone World’, both in 2010 and 2011, as well as of the Lusophone Interfaces (2014).
Lurdes Macedo was Assistant Lecturer in the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, from 2009 to 2012.
