Journalist since 1998, after completing a degree in Social Communication at the University of Minho.
She began her professional career at RTP (between 1998 and 2002). In 2003, she embarked on her academic career as a teacher at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança while pursuing her master’s degree in Sociology of Culture and Lifestyles at the University of Minho.
Since 2007, she has also been SIC’s correspondent in Vila Real.
Her activity as a journalist allowed her to obtain the title of Specialist in Communication Sciences in 2014.
