Maria da Conceição Adrião is a PhD candidate in Cultural Studies at the University of Minho.
In 2006, she passed a competitive examination for the Court of Justice of the State of Pernambuco, Brazil, as a judicial technician. Since 2009, she has been an assistant to the judge of this court, managing the team and the flow of cases. She carries out research, drafting decisions and judgements in criminal cases, in the First Criminal Chamber; she works on public and private law cases, in the Special Body; as well as on the admissibility of extreme appeals to the higher courts, in the First Vice-Presidency of the Court of Justice of Pernambuco.
