PhD in Communication Sciences and Sociology, both by the University of Minho and the Université Paris Descartes – Sorbonne (France), in 2013, she is a Lecturer in the University of Azores (Portugal), where she teaches in the fields of Communication and Cyberculture.
She studies visual culture with a focus on photography. She is also a former Lecturer in the Lusophone University and a Post-Doc researcher of the FCT (The Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology).
